Terms of Service
// last updated July 10, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of C for CMS. Please read them carefully before using the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using C for CMS (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
C for CMS is an API-first headless content management platform that lets you model content and deliver it over REST and GraphQL APIs. We may update, improve, or modify features of the Service over time.
3. Accounts & Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API keys.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or infringe the rights of others.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Abuse rate limits, resell the Service without authorization, or misrepresent your identity.
- Store or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
5. Your Content & Ownership
You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store in the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to use your content and that it complies with these Terms.
6. Fees & Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time; changes take effect according to your billing cycle.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by C for CMS and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding or software except as necessary to use the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, C for CMS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which C for CMS operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
